Medical Journal of The Islamic Republic of Iran (MJIRI)

The Medical Journal of The Islamic Republic of Iran (MJIRI), is an editorially independent peer-reviewed online open-access journal owned and published by Iran University of Medical Sciences and aims to be a publication of international repute for reporting current regional and international adventures in all aspects of the medicine. MJIRI welcomes contributions in the form of original research articles, letter to the editor, review articles, brief communications, and debate articles. The Journal seeks to provide its readers with the highest quality scientific information published through a process of careful peer reviews and editorial comments. All publications are in English.

Annals of Bariatric Surgery (ABS) 

Annals of Bariatric Surgery (ABS) is an Open Access clinical journal, officially published by Minimally Invasive Surgery Research Center (MISRC) of Iran University of Medical Sciences, Iranian Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (IRSMBS), and Global Laparoscopic & Robotics (GLR). This is an international journal aimed to publish high-quality peer-reviewed manuscripts about the effects of bariatric and metabolic procedures on weight loss, obesity-related comorbidities, nutritional and psychosocial outcomes.

Function and Disability Journal, the official journal of the school of Rehabilitation Sciences is a annually, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary forum for the publication of evidence-based articles about functioning and disability.

Basic and Clinical Neuroscience (BCN) is an open-access journal, which is the official Publication of the Iran University of Medical Sciences and Iranian Neuroscience Society. BCN is an international multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal that publishes editorials, original full‐length research articles, short communications, reviews, methodological papers, commentaries, case-reports and perspectives in the broad fields of developmental, molecular, cellular, systems, computational, behavioral, cognitive, and clinical neuroscience.  Manuscripts submitted to BCN should describe novel results generated by experiments that were guided by clearly defined aims or hypotheses and should not have appeared or submitted to any other journals.

Iranian Journal of Pharmacology and Therapeutics

The Iranian Journal of pharmacology and Therapeutics (IJPT) is a peer-reviewed and open access scientific journal, published by Iran University of Medical Sciences. IJPT welcomes original and influential research and reviews that report new leading methodologies, applications, trials, therapies and remedies in the fields of Pharmacology and Therapeutics.  International Journal of Children and Adolescents (IJCA) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal in all aspects of health care in neonates, children and adolescents, as well as related molecular genetics, pathophysiology, and epidemiology.

Journal of Medical Physiology is an international, peer-reviewed, and open access journal focusing on basic sciences and clinical aspects of human physiology. Coverage reaches all fields of physiology, encompassing molecular, cellular, and systems physiology. This journal adheres to all recommendations and guidelines of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Journal of Anesthesiology and Pain

Journal of Anesthesiology and Pain aims to publish scientific activities and highten the knowledge of researchers, physicians and other enthusiasts regarding the latest scientific achievements in the field of anesthesia and pain with trends in clinical, basic and pharmaceutical sciences and laboratory and animal studies. Researchers are invited to submit their manuscripts, based on the structure mentioned below, through e-mail, to the website, or simply mail them to the head office.

Iran Journal of Nursing

The journal has been confirmed by the Journals Commission of Iran Ministry of Health and Medical Education as the first Scientific Iranian nursing journal in August 2006. The journal is being published primarily in Persian with extended English abstract.

All of manuscripts will be reviewed for publication to identify that if they represent original works. The paper, including its essential data, tables, and figures, should not been published elsewhere in whole or part, the paper neither was published already nor is being under review elsewhere, All manuscripts will be peer reviewed typically by at least two double blind editorial consultants with relevant specialty. After evaluating the new prepared manuscript by peer reviewers, the author(s) will be informed and after accepting the article in the Editorial Board, the author(s) will receive the acceptance letter.

Iran Occupational Health (IOH)

Iran Occupational Health (IOH) is a Peer reviewed Open Access online journal which is published in Persian with extended abstract continuously, by Iran University of Medical Sciences. The Journal has been in publication since 2005, and aims to publish the latest research in the area of Occupational Health and sharing the findings with other researchers in the world. This journal is following of Committee on Publication Ethics and compliant with the highest ethical standard in accordance with ethical laws. IOH covers multidisciplinary researches concerning factors influencing workforces in any workplaces.

Razi Journal of Medical Sciences

The Razi Journal of Medical Sciences (RJMS)   is the scientific medical journal of Iran, which has been published since 1993 onward in Persian with abstract of English language. Although it had been published quarterly in the past, RJMS has been published monthly (12 issues per year) since 2009 up to now. The Razi Journal of Medical Sciences, a scientific and research peer reviewed journal, seeks to publish original papers, selected review articles and case reports. RJMS also seeks to provide its readers with the highest quality materials published through a process of careful double-blind peer reviews and editorial comments. The RJMS is an official publication of the Iran University of Medical Sciences. Journal of Health Administration

The Journal of Health Administration was first published in November of 1996, School of Health Management and Information Sciences, Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. This Journal is one of the pioneers in publishing articles in the field of Health Services Management (Health Policy, Health in Disasters and Emergencies, and Health Technology Assessment), Health Information Management (Medical Informatics and Health Information Technology), Health Economics, and Medical Librarianship and Information Science in Iran. The Journal of Health Administration is a quarterly journal that publishes 8 articles in each issue.
The process of reviewing manuscripts in this journal is peer-reviewed and double-blind. Peer-review is a process that comprehensively reviews and evaluates specialized manuscripts by experts in the field. This type of reviewing is conducted in different ways, one of which is double-blind that allows the reviewer to review the manuscripts solely on the basis of the content, as knowing the names of the author(s) may lead to bias and would have a negative impact on the reviewing process.
